How long are funds kept in escrow?
Funds remain in escrow from the moment of payment until physical delivery and buyer sign-off. Buyers have up to 24 hours after physical handover to verify mechanical condition against the inspection report.
What happens if a dispute is filed?
If either party initiates a dispute, escrow funds are instantly locked in place. A Bidrit Senior Resolution Officer assesses diagnostic data, intake photos, and inspection records. Resolutions are concluded within 48 business hours.
Can the seller cancel after escrow is funded?
If a seller fails to surrender the car for intake or attempts to renegotiate after payment is locked, the escrow order is cancelled immediately and the buyer receives a 100% refund.
