Answers to Your Automotive
Trust Questions.

Everything you need to know about purchasing, selling, 120-point inspections, CBN-compliant escrow custody, and nationwide delivery across Nigeria.

Financial Safety

Escrow & Payment Protections

How your money is safeguarded throughout the transaction.

Where does my money go when I pay with Escrow?

Your payment does not go directly to the vehicle seller. It is held securely in a CBN-regulated custodial trust account managed by licensed commercial bank partners. Neither the seller nor Bidrit can disburse the funds until you physically verify the vehicle or approve the condition report.

How much does Bidrit Escrow cost?

Bidrit Escrow charges a standard transparent fee of 1.5% of the transaction value. This covers banking compliance, escrow legal agreement execution, vehicle custody logging, and dispute mediation. The fee can be paid by the buyer, seller, or split 50/50.

What happens if the vehicle condition is misrepresented?

If our inspection report or your 24-hour delivery verification uncovers undisclosed engine failure, frame damage, or document discrepancy, you can reject the deal. 100% of your escrow principal is refunded back to your bank account immediately.

Mechanical Audits

Vehicle Inspection & Diagnostics

Everything regarding the 120-point mechanical check.

What does the 120-point inspection include?

Our certified automotive technicians run computerized OBD-II diagnostics on the engine and transmission, conduct digital paint-depth micrometer scans to uncover hidden body filler (bondo), evaluate brake rotor and suspension wear, test air conditioning compressor pressures, and inspect chassis welds.

Can you detect odometer rollback?

Yes. Our diagnostic scanners interrogate secondary vehicle computers (ECU, ABS module, Transmission Controller, and Key FOB memories) where original mileage timestamps are stored, allowing us to expose odometer fraud common in Nigerian imported cars.

How much does inspection cost and where is it available?

Bidrit Inspect is a flat fee of ₦15,000 per vehicle. It is currently available across all districts of Abuja (FCT) via our diagnostic hubs in Maitama, Wuse 2, Garki, and mobile response vans.

Interstate Transport

Bidrit Drive & Delivery Questions

Moving vehicles safely across Nigeria's 36 states.

How are vehicles protected during interstate transit?

Every vehicle transported via Bidrit Drive is backed by comprehensive Goods-in-Transit (GIT) insurance. Our bonded drivers carry verified NIN credentials and personal guarantors, and every transit trip is monitored 24/7 with live GPS telematics.

Can I request flatbed carrier delivery instead of driving?

Yes! For brand new cars, exotic sports cars, or sensitive foreign used vehicles where you do not want additional kilometers added to the odometer, you can select our Enclosed Flatbed Carrier tier during booking.

Seller Guidelines

Seller, Agent & Dealership Rules

How to become an accredited seller and get listed.

Why is NIN verification mandatory for every seller?

Nigeria's automotive black market thrives on anonymity. By verifying national identities and matching bank accounts before any vehicle is published, Bidrit ensures that no stolen vehicles or impersonators can list on our platform.

How do sellers receive payout after escrow release?

When the buyer signs off on physical delivery or the 24-hour verification period concludes, our automated banking integration instantly triggers an NIP commercial bank transfer directly to the seller's verified account within 15 minutes.
