How Bidrit collects, encrypts, processes, and protects your personal identification and transaction records.
1. Information We Collect
When you register as a buyer, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and a securely hashed password. As you browse, save vehicles, or initiate bookings, we maintain activity logs strictly to enhance platform security.
For verified sellers, agents, and dealers, we collect verification data including National Identification Numbers (NIN), CAC business registration certificates, verified bank account names, and physical showroom addresses. This sensitive data is strictly gated and never shared publicly.
2. How We Protect Your Information
All sensitive identity identifiers are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. We enforce HTTPS throughout our applications, utilize secure session isolation across portals, and implement automated rate-limiting to mitigate unauthorized credential scanning.
Internal staff access to verification documents is strictly role-gated and subject to immutable audit logging. Ordinary staff members cannot view unmasked personal identification records.
3. We Never Sell Your Data
Bidrit does not sell, rent, or monetize your personal details to third-party advertisers. Information is only shared with accredited service partners (such as Bidrit Inspect technicians and verified Bidrit Drive logistics carriers) to the exact extent required to perform your booked services.
Where required by Nigerian statutory authorities or law enforcement subpoenas, disclosures are handled in compliance with due process under the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA).
4. Data Access, Rectification & Erasure
