1. What Is Covered Under Protection
Every vehicle transaction completed via Bidrit Escrow is backed by the Bidrit Buyer Protection Guarantee. You are 100% protected against:
- Undisclosed Major Mechanical Faults: Severe engine knock, slipping automatic transmission, or cracked engine block omitted from the listing.
- Structural & Flood History: Undisclosed chassis welding, bent frame, or water submersion lines.
- Title & Documentation Irregularities: Forged customs clearance papers, conflicting chassis numbers, or third-party ownership encumbrances.
- Non-Delivery or Transit Loss: Full reimbursement if the vehicle is not delivered by the agreed logistics deadline.
2. The 3-Step Claim Process

A certified Bidrit diagnostic technician inspects the flagged issue on-site.
Upon verified misrepresentation, 100% of your funds are returned within 24h.
3. Return Logistics & Seller Liability
Where a vehicle rejection is sustained due to demonstrable seller deceit or undisclosed critical defects, the seller is legally responsible for the return haulage fee.
The vehicle is held in safe custody at an authorized Bidrit Hub in Abuja or Lagos until return transport is arranged. The buyer does not bear the cost of returning a deceitfully advertised vehicle.
4. Fair-Use Responsibilities
Buyer Protection does not cover cosmetic wear-and-tear clearly identified in listing photographs, nor does it cover vehicle modifications, commercial usage, or damages caused while in the buyer's 48-hour inspection custody.
